Welcome to Kinder "garden" where children bloom all year!
Aloha, I have been teaching for 30 years, 25 of those years have been in the Kindergarten classroom. I started my career on the island of Moloka'i and have taught in schools from the Waianae to Honolulu district. I received both my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and master's degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Hawai'i. I've been blessed to be part of the Waiau 'Ohana since 2006.
In Kindergarten we will work toward...
-Developing the whole child
-Developing social and communication skills
-Building self-confidence
-Creating a nurturing learning environment
-Encouraging a lifelong love of learning
Other interests outside of the classroom: Drawing, lei making, floral design, performing arts, camping and tide pooling. I'm excited to watching your child bloom this school year!
