Hi there! I'm Julia Yamashiro, the Student Services Coordinator here at Waiau. My teaching career began in 2002 and I have been teaching at Waiau Elementary since 2011. I received my B.Ed. in Elementary Education from the University of Hawaii with a dual certification in general education and special education.  I'm here to support students, parents, teachers and staff! Teaching is my passion and it is a privilege to be able to do what I love with a great team of teachers and staff!
