Aloha!

My name is Amy Dela Cruz.  I first started working for the DOE in the mid 90's as a PCNC, Adult Supervisor and substitute Office Clerk and Educational Assistant.   I came to Waiau Elementary in 2005 as an Attendance Clerk from Campbell High School when I was fortunate enough to transfer here in the neighborhood where my husband grew up.  I know it was no coincidence that I was brought here to join the Waiau 'ohana.  It felt like coming home.

Waiau is a special place. Know that when you come to this school, you have been brought here for a purpose. Not only are we blessed with a beautiful campus in a residential neighborhood, but also a group of loving, caring individuals that make up our faculty and support staff.  We look forward to the opportunity to serve you here as part of our Waiau 'ohana.
