I have enjoyed teaching at Waiau Elementary School since 2003. I am very fortunate to be a part of a school that values academics, but also provides opportunities for students to discover their talents through extracurricular activities.
I am very passionate about teaching and believe all children deserve to learn in a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment. I also believe in the importance of recognizing that every child is unique and has his/her own special talents and backgrounds.
I am originally from the island of Kauai, but moved to Oahu to attend the University of Hawaii at Manoa. I graduated with a Masters degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education.
